Hi, I've kept Pekins for many years off and on but am now semi retired so have more time for them, and have bought an incubator which is so much better than using clockers.
I have four ex cage layers also and a terrier, who likes to' help' as I do my rounds
Marie says...I am just browsing the web site and am finding it to be most comprehensive (pardon the pun:roll:). I didn't realize I would come to love pekins so much and was so sorry to have to part with the plainer one in my picture. We had called him Boris Becker(because he was a little pecker) but he has gone to a lovely lady who plenty of girls for him.

hello I am a lover of Pekin Bantams. Having kept "ordinary" chickens in the past I am now a convert to these friendly little souls. I have 6 birds - 3 of which were hatched in our airing cupboard. I have a Lavender (Milly) two Mille Fleur (Rosie and Goldie) three black ones - One a Frizzle called Mr Twizzle, Ella and Hattie. All lovely ones. Already this month I have has 24 eggs! If I had the space I would have hundreds but my husband keeps me in check.
