Perfect Pekins Pekin Bantams

Just a quick note to introduce you to the new Live Chat feature here at Perfect Pekins.

Perfect Pekins now has a 'live' chat room where you can chat for as long as you like about Pekins, poultry or anything else.  What could be better than to relax with a nice cup of some something yummy whilst chatting about Pekins?  Although I know some of you may have already used this new feature or may already know how to use a chat room, I thought I should write a short guide to help get you started, just in case you are new to chat:

How to use the Perfect Pekins 'Live Chat' Feature:

1. Log in to Perfect Pekins at www.perfectpekins.co.uk using your e-mail address and password.
2. Wait for the page to reload once you have logged in and look at the bottom of your screen.
3. Find the grey bar that says 'Share Page' on the left and the number of Friends Online on the right.
4. Place your cursor arrow over the grey bar on the bottom right and you will see it turns blue.
5. Click once to bring up a box, where your online friend's user names will appear with a green dot and the word 'available' if they are logged in and available to chat.  You can click on their personal profile icon image to view their profile.
6. Simply click on your chosen friend to bring up a chat box, where you can start typing your welcome message in the bottom of the box, where the cursor is flashing.  Once you have typed your message click 'enter' and your message will be made 'live' where your friend can see it.
7. Wait for your friend to respond to you by typing their own message and then again return this with another message from you.
8. You can then chat 'live' for as long as you wish and arrange new times to log in and chat.
9. If you wish, you can select more than one friend to chat to at any time, by selecting their name from box on the right or move your box down so that you can view the Perfect Pekins website again on your screen.  To do this click on '_' next to the 'x' at the top right hand side of the chat box.
10. During your live chat you can also share your page by placing your cursor over the grey bar where it says 'Share Page' and clicking.
11. To end your chat session, just say goodbye and arrange when you would like to chat again or what you would like to do next with your friend.  Always say goodbye, if you wish to leave the chat area, otherwise your friend will be sitting and waiting for your next message to appear.  Then just click on the 'x' symbol at the top right of your chat box, to close your chat session.
